Meeting Schedule

         Meeting schedule through May 2012 (all meetings are on Saturday, 7:30pm unless otherwise noted.)  The meetings are broken up in 3 parts.  
     The first is any news of interest that concerns the transgender community or our group. Any announcements and requests are made at this time.
     The second part is the meeting that is facilitated by a group leader who keeps the flow of communication going. Simple rules apply- show regard for first timers and younger folks, speak loud and also do not go over the time limit with an issue. This is not a time to block up the meeting time with a "me-me" attitude, we are empowerment , not therapy nor a victim attitude. No need to use foul language as we are all adults. If you have a crisis issue you can take someone aside to speak to in a private session upstairs, and then return and speak with the group.
      The final part of the evening is the social time where coffee and other refreshments are served. We encourage the group to engage all new people in conversation and also to approach a person they might never have spoken with before.
    Please contact Jessica for information about the location of the "Social Pot-luck" before each meeting. It is a great way to meet new friends and get a feel of why this group has lasted so long. Come be a part of the family!!
